Direct from the growers and always fresh, Randall Organic Rice is grown and milled on their family farm in the Murrumbidgee Valley, which has been certified organic with NASAA for more than twenty years.
Koshihikari semi-brown rice has a unique and delicious flavour. It is a Japanese style sticky,short grain rice that is suitable for sushi, risotto, rice desserts and as a everyday rice. It can also be used as an accompaniment for stews and stir fries and has a lower GI than most other rices including arborio.
With no use of pesticides or artificial fertilisers this is truly organic. Working with nature to build on the fertility and health of the soil whilst caring for the environment, Randall’s farming methods has a low carbon footprint.
Randall Organic Rice’s milling process allows them to leave some of the layers of bran on the grain, keeping more flavour and nutrition without a lengthy cooking time, ie it cooks in 12 to 14 minutes.
