Turmeric has a wide range of uses and is not just popular in curries, but it has a very long history of medicinal use, dating back thousands of years with roots in Indian Traditional Ayurvedic medicine and Traditional Chinese medicine.

Organic Turmeric Powder hails from a chemical- and pesticide-free Himalayan region in India and is naturally higher in curcumin content – minimum 4-6% curcumin (lab-tested) so that you get only the best quality. The high curcumin content enhances the powders colour, aroma and medicinal value as a powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory spice. Common commercially available turmeric powder contains only 2-3% curcumin.
