Rare New Zealand 10+ Manuka Honey French Toast
Prep : 5mins Cook : 10mins (20mins if you have a tiny chef) Total Time: 15 Mins.
Makes one serve.
Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp 10+ manuka honey)
- 3 Tbsp milk
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- Slice of bread
- Cinnamon sugar to dust
Instructions
- Add egg, milk, vanilla essence, UMF 10 + Manuka Honey into a bowl.
- Wisk together until mixed well. (remove any eggshells your tiny chef may have added :P )
- Add a slice of bread to mixture. Let it soak up on both sides.
- Heat up butter or olive oil in a pan. Alexander used olive oil.
- Once your slice of bread has soaked up the mixture, add it to your pan.
- Alex added the remaining mix to the top of the bread once it was on the pan.
- Cook for 1.5 - 2 minutes and flip.
- Serve on a plate and top it off with some delicious cinnamon sugar.
Notes
Cooking with a 2.5 year old will send you up the wazoo and you will lose half the jar of honey because eating it straight out of the jar is inevitable. I can't blame him, it tastes great!
His older sister was super happy to have him cook for her, and she ate the French toast in record speeds!
